Caregiver Smart Solutions, which utilizes sensor technology to ease the burden of adult caregivers as their aging loves ones Age in Place, was one of nine technology startups chosen to compete for this prestigious title.
A judging panel of investors and venture capitalists, including Kevin Harrington of ABC’s Shark Tank, reviewed pitches from each of the ten finalists.
Caregiver Smart Solutions helps reduce the stress on adult children caregivers by placing sensors throughout the aging loved one’s home. The non-invasive sensors feed data to a customizable app that showcases critical information including when their loved one wakes, how often they are eating, taking medicine and visiting the bathroom, along with movement throughout the home.
The company will begin shipping three kit levels on their website (www.caregiversmartsolutions.com), at a beginning cost of $99 (plus a monthly subscription fee), in the second quarter of 2020.
