World Matcha Inc., a food-tech startup that modernizes authentic matcha for every day, today announced that it has been named a CES 2020 Innovation Awards Honoree for its Cuzen Matcha, a freshly ground matcha drink-maker for the office and home. The reveal was made today during CES Unveiled Las Vegas 2020, an invite-only tech event bringing together top media, exhibitors and industry leaders. The product will be exhibited in CES Eureka Park on January 7-10 and can now be pre-ordered in the US at cuzenmatcha.com. Cuzen Matcha uses hardware (the Matcha Maker) and software (matcha leaves), similar to an espresso machine. For each drink, the Matcha Maker grinds the matcha leaves into a fine powder with a ceramic mill and blends the powder with water to make a fresh Matcha-presso. The freshly ground matcha drinks are versatile and can be enjoyed straight, poured into milk for a matcha latte, or any other drink of choice. Cuzen Matcha provides sustained energy from freshly ground Japanese matcha, unlike a caffeine crash that follows a cup of coffee. “We are delighted to be named as a 2020 CES Innovation Awards Honoree,” said Eijiro (“Ey-jee-roh”) Tsukada, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of World Matcha Inc. “We are committed to building a sustainable world where people live in harmony with each other and the earth. By introducing Cuzen Matcha, we will provide sustainable energy for people, partner with tea farmers for sustainable tea production, and promote sustainability by reducing waste in single-use product packaging.” Cuzen Matcha will be exhibited at CES in Eureka Park in Tech West, Sands Expo – booth
